Maritime Travel Declaration

The Maritime Travel Declaration collects important information including vaccination status and contact information. This information helps the Australian Government to ensure the health and safety of the Australian community.

How does it work

Maritime travel declarations explained

Travellers and crew entering Australia by sea must complete a Maritime Travel Declaration. They should complete it at least three days (but no more than ten days) before commencing their voyage. The successful submission of your declaration does not guarantee entry into Australia. This service is operated by SITA which is authorised by the Australian Government to collect declarations on their behalf.
